Volga Blue

Named after the Volga River, the longest river in Europe, Volga Blue is a beautiful granite quarried in the Ukraine, dominated by a matrix of relatively uniform large black crystals intersected with a hint of smaller khaki coloured crystals. The main feature of this granite is the randomly scattered shinning, opalescent metallic blue mica flakes which are the feature of this stone. These mica flakes appear to turn from silver to blue depending on the lighting ambience in the room and the angle that you are viewing the surface of the stone.
