Black Forest Gold aka Titanium, a stunning natural stone from Brazil which is in great demand for counter tops & feature wall panels all over the world. Whilst classified as a Granite in the industry this stone is a type of Schist, one of the so called “new” Granites that have been extracted in recent years. These types of Granites are made up of a mixture of hard Quartz, which polishes to a high level, to softer Mica which does do not reach the same level of polish. Hence the varied appearance you see in the way light reflects off the surface and edges of these types of stone. Also they are generally a little softer in nature than your more traditional types of monumental Granites, so a little more care has to be taken when placing very hard and sharp objects against the surface of this stone. With its varying shades of deep blacks in the background which is intersected by small to very large swirls of transparent like, white to quartz coloured crystals randomly weaving their way through the stone. You will also find scatterings of very fine sparkling grains of silver to gold coloured mica. – A beautiful granite from Angola with a very unique grain structure. There are 2 varieties of this stone. Deep chocolate and black grains, medium to large in size, with variable reflective qualities depending on the type. Sometimes with gold flakes, or without, sometimes with grey/white lines or without. This stone polishes to a very high gloss level. Highly scratch resistant and a very stain resistant stone.
Antique White

An interesting and versatile granite from Brazil, light in colour, having large crystals of white, with smaller crystals of silver grey, as well as cream to sandy beige coloured grains, with black mica highlights. You can also find large gun metal grey quartz crystals that have a transparent appearance which is very interesting. This stone also features beautiful reflective silver mica flakes scattered subtly throughout the stone. Some tiny flecks of maroon can also be found. Patterns and shades vary a lot from block to block of this stone. Antique White has medium to high range hardness and stain resistance.
